Painting furniure.....

I have this piece of furniture (in white, pictured below) that is older than furniture I tend to be drawn to- but I just haven't yet figured out what to do with it. I took it to the Walden Artisan Market and some were interested, but probably like me, couldn't imagine a home for it. And then today, I ran across this old DesignSponge home tour and had that ah ha moment...paint the piece my favorite color!!! Duh!! (Does anyone say that anymore?? haha) I recommend taking a peak at that home tour, I loved it all over again...but it does feature all the colors of my house all most exactly, so it makes sense why I would be drawn to it! I'll let you know how it goes painting the cabinet below. Or feel free to comment if you have another idea for it!
