so, today the flea market came to town!! the fourth weekend of each month is flea market weekend in my house...it means: put on comfy clothes and shoes, stop to get your coffee drink and head out to the fairgrounds to see what *goodies* you can find. my favorite vendor has a $1 table, on it i find dishes, vintage ephemera, wooden frames, you name it...and it's all $1 each!
On my way home I stopped at my favorite thrift store and scored some chairs there too!
Here are a few pics of my finds:
a vintage men's dressing chair with a little coin caddy on top and the seat hinges open for storage
a pair of chairs that i so happen to already have one that matches, one more and i'm set!
anyone who knows me, knows i love donkeys...this one is a bobble head!!
a mean owl planter for a freakin' dollar!
and last but not least, lots of vintage (some hand made) laces for my upcoming art show..more on that to come later!
My arts and crafts space is currently out of commission until I can get it organized...
