So, it's almost time for my first ever art show...I've gathered materials for months, but seem to have had a really hard time putting together what is in my head onto canvas...but here is what I've been using as my inspiration: vintage found photos, wood veneer, old doilies and laces, hand stitching, skeleton keys and guns and gocco/screen printing the aforementioned items.
This one above is my favorite, there are three or four of what seems like a large negative maybe? It looks so neat with the light from the TV behind it. I don't know how I can incorporate these into the stuff I'm working on, but I'd like to somehow.
This is one that is almost finished....

I like it! I was in West Elm over the weekend & they have a duvet cover with skeleton keys on it. It's pretty cool.
super duper love your blog so cute! I like doilies too! I'm trying to collect enough doilies, so that I can tack them all together to make a large curtain type panel to hang as a room divider....
