Happy Birthday Sesame Street!!

I think that I've mentioned here before about my love for Sesame Street and how as a child I watched it twice a day...but I can't remember. This show is near and dear to my heart and I just have soooo many fond memories of it as a child, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite memories since today is their 40th birthday.


To this day I still think of several of these memories from Sesame Street, Teeny Little Super Guy amazed me how the glass came and went through the cabinets, etc.



If I ever hear this song, I picture that "U" attacking Smokey Robinson every time. It kinda freaked me out as a kid.



This one I included for David because every now and then after he has done a hard day's work, I'll catch him singing about being a hard working dog.



Who didn't hold a crayon up to their eye and wonder how it was made???!



I learned to count from the ladybug picnic- there were 12 ladybugs at the ladybug picnic...



And who can forget the pinball counting below...1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10...eleven....twwweeellllveeee!!



I still sing about going to the dentist with my llama...i wish i had a llama.




I remeber that I always thought it was funny when he would say Vincent Twice, Vincent Twice...it was years later I even knew about Vincent Price.




And two of my favorites combined in one...Bert and Ernie and the yeppp yeppp martians!!! Now that I think about it, Ernie was the most normal one on that show...i never got Bert and his bottle cap collection or his love for pigeons (i don't think i knew what a pigeon was back then!)
